Hall 2, Stand F06

Manufaktura Surowe and Ceramika Stare Gronowo are offering an exciting program at their stand that you should not miss.

Description

Daily program:

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Demonstrations on shaping clay bricks
We show how to make traditional adobe bricks, which were used for half-timbered buildings in Europe. We will show how to shape the mass of clay, straw and sawdust, press a brick and build a half-timbered wall.
- With Filip Gawliński

1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Special demonstrations - portraits drawn in clay
Painter Filip Gawliński, a master of portrait painting, will carve portraits of fair visitors in raw clay. Similarly, at Manufaktura Surowe we create images of investors on roof tiles and bricks. The carved portraits can be taken home for a small donation.
- With Filip Gawliński

3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Demonstrations on the production of roof tiles
We will show how to make a traditional hollow tile on a simple wooden bench and a mold from the 19th century. We will demonstrate how to decorate them with our fingers, just like we do in Manufaktura Surowe.
- With Jacek Szczygieł
