09/11/2024 denkmal & MUTEC 2024: Large number of visitors at anniversary The leading European trade fair denkmal, together with the parallel MUTEC, has once again proven itself to be the central international platform for the preservation and communication of cultural heritage. With 13,400 visitors, the trade fair duo continued its strong development and experienced noticeable growth - this was also evident in the two exhibition halls. 499 exhibitors from 26 countries met numerous interested, enthusiastic and innovation-hungry visitors. 17/10/2024 denkmal presents: First aid for cultural heritage From a global perspective, it is a novelty that will be presented at denkmal in Leipzig. The German Association of Conservators (VDR) is about to finalize its “Handbook for the Restoration of Cultural Property” and will be providing initial insights in Leipzig. Whether paint on canvas, photos, ceramics or plastic: the manual describes specific salvage and first aid measures in the event of damage. Continue reading

30/11/2022 denkmal and MUTEC Celebrate a Strong Comeback After denkmal and MUTEC had to be cancelled two years ago owing to the pandemic, its exhibitors, partners and visitors were pleased to see this trade fair duo make a hugely successful comeback from 24 to 26 November 2022. The 14th edition of the leading European trade fair denkmal and of MUTEC, which took place simultaneously, was extremely busy and welcomed 12,800 visitors from 32 countries. "We've just experienced three intense days at the trade fair. You could really feel the enthusiasm of everyone there, every second of every day. Business relationships, expert discussions and personal meetings were the order of the day as denkmal and MUTEC impressively demonstrated how significant these trade fairs are as an international get-together for the entire industry", says a thrilled Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director at Leipziger Messe. denkmal statement on the Russian war against Ukraine

Leipziger Messe strongly condemns Russia's war against Ukraine. It is an attack on state sovereignty and peace in Europe. We fully support the sanction measures of the German government and stand behind our Ukrainian partners. Therefore, there will be no Russian participation at denkmal 2024.
