High thermal insulation, non-combustible (A1), recyclable, long-term stability, easy to process: These are just some of the exemplary advantages that the new “Ecosphere” insulation technology offers in practice. This is made possible by the use of hollow glass microspheres, which act as a lightweight aggregate. They ensure the high thermal insulation (0.042 W/mK) of the purely mineral mortar-based spray insulation. In contrast to conventional ETICS panel solutions, it can also be applied easily and flawlessly on uneven surfaces. Thanks to these properties, the new generation of insulation has already received several awards since its market launch in 2019 - including a nomination for the German Future Prize 2020 by the Federal President.
