»QualiBene« Learning and qualification at the Fraunhofer Center Benediktbeuern
The aim of the Fraunhofer Center in Benediktbeuern is to preserve historic structures in a sustainable and energy-efficient manner. Research into innovative and sustainable solutions for optimising the energy efficiency of existing buildings, while preserving historical monuments, forms the cornerstone of this work.
Another key task of the Fraunhofer Centre is transferring knowledge from research to practice. Under the brand »QualiBene - Training and Qualification at the Fraunhofer Centre Benediktbeuern« training courses are offered on core topics related to the sustainable and energy-efficient refurbishment of historic buildings. These courses are practical, solution-oriented, and at the cutting-edge of technological and research developments. By combining online and face-to-face modules, the training programmes offer the flexibility of a digital learning environment alongside workshops, where measurement techniques and methods are tested on a real project in Benediktbeuern.
