The toggle switch is one of the oldest switch types. It is particularly easy to operate - even with your elbow if necessary when your hands are full. The central insert is made of porcelain - as was the case with the first of its kind - and the toggle lever is made of thermoset (Duroplast). The base body is made of steatite, a technical porcelain, and has solid screw contacts. The switching process is also confirmed acoustically by a durable brass switching mechanism.
