WEM underfloor heating is quick and easy to install in drywall construction and is ideal for combining with wooden floors. In addition to a pleasantly elastic walking sensation, the structure of this underfloor heating provides good footfall sound insulation and improves the sound in the room. Can be used in new and old buildings as well as in commercial and social facilities.
The system is based on a softwood fibreboard that is manufactured using an environmentally friendly wet process. Heat conducting plates and WEM multi-layer composite pipe (Ø 16 mm) are inserted into this. Uneven substrates can be levelled beforehand with levelling fill and covered with a cover sheet as a cleanliness layer. The construction height of the system is 40 mm, the weight 15 kg/m².
The floor covering is usually made up of wooden planks, which are attached to the sound-decoupled profile strips. The suitability of the wooden floor for underfloor heating must be agreed with the manufacturer.
