Hall 2, Stand M31 Stephanie Dirks and Nadine Thiel provide initial insights into the new “Cultural Property Operations Manual”, which the Association of Conservators will publish as an e-book on 20.11.2024.
The debate clearly shows that the balance between security and cultural preservation is a challenge that affects us all.

VDR opens its stage to the next generation
Hall 2, Stand M31 In this presentation, partners from preparatory internships and studies will provide an insight into the opportunities and skills that prospective conservators can acquire at various internship and study locations in German-speaking countries. In addition, the VDR will present a new funding opportunity for students of conservation-restoration, which will be available at the 6 university locations in Germany from fall 2024.
